The ties are all toe nailed together using barn nails. We predrilled the
holes and used a big hammer.

Ties and decking no fill.

I went to the area railroad office and received a permission slip that
allowed me to pick up ties at a designated place. It was a lot of hard
work, but it will be there for a long time.
